Natural and Cultural Heritage

We want to show the places of the island, for that reason, we have selected two divisions. On the one hand the Natural Heritage and on the other hand the Cultural Heritage, showing in that point the monuments and groups of buildings of an area.

It is important to know the meaning. Firstly, Cultural Heritage designates a monument, group of buildings or an historical site, aesthetic, archaeological, scientific, ethnological or anthropological value. Secondly, Natural Heritage designates outstanding physical, biological and geological features. For example, physical and biological formations, natural sites or delineated natural areas, etc.

Hiking trough the paths is the best option to know the Natural Heritage, because it is the best way to know and maintain the natural areas.

Related to Cultural Heritage, we are focusing on the monuments and groups of buildings of an area. We are showing the history of that area, and the most representative buildings which have a close relation with the locals.
